Welcome Information for Attendees

We’re exited to see you at this week’s 2018 LITA Library Technology Forum. Here’s some information to help you get ready.

  • All Forum sessions will take place in the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  • Registration will be in the Great Lakes Foyer on the 4th Floor. You can pick up your badge 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Thursday, at the MIA reception Thursday evening, and starting at 8:00 am on Friday.
  • Please read the Statement of Appropriate Conduct that all participants are expected to observe in all conference venues, online spaces, and at Forum social events.
  • Attend the Welcome to Forum/1st Timer Orientation on Friday, November 9th from 10:15 – 10:45 am to learn how to take advantage of everything Forum has to offer (Great Lakes C room). Highly recommended for first-time attendees.
  • Attend our Joint Reception with the Upper Midwest Digital Collections Conference on Thursday, November 8th from 6 – 8pm at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
  • Coffee and Donuts, or Bagels, will begin at 8:45am in the Great Lakes B room on the 4th floor on Friday and Saturday.
  • Lunches on Friday and Saturday at Noon in the Great Lakes B room.
  • If you’re staying at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis in the LITA room block, you’ll receive complimentary internet access in your guest room. There will also be free wifi available in all session rooms during the Forum.
