Personas are essential components for goal-directed UX design processes–it helps to align strategy and goals for specific user groups. They have been widely used for UX projects like redesign of library websites, discovery tools and space design, but not for extensively community or organization. This session starts with the goal of identifying community needs, expectations and enhancing participation; and moving to the process of how to successfully analyze existing data and conduct user studies to produce personas. A group of people established a virtual collaborative process and got the job done. Tips and lessons will be shared.
