Collections of the community: Cultivating diversity in the USC Digital Library

The University of Southern California (USC) Digital Library is a free online resource that provides open access to over 1.2 million digital objects critical for teaching, learning, and research. These are historical collections made available by collaborations between the USC Libraries and institutions in the US and globally. The USC Digital Library provides open access to primary resources and rare materials. By its location, the USC Digital Library is also an integral nexus for community building and engagement. This presentation aims to highlight USC Digital Library collection projects, partnerships that represent minority communities and the development of these collections.
