Building Capacity for UX at Your Library

User experience has started to gain traction in many libraries. Though some institutions may not be able to set up a dedicated UX department, UX studies can still be conducted in various ways depending on the organizational structure. This panel includes three UX practitioners—the UX Librarian at a Big Ten university, the lead of the Usability Working Group at an Ivy League university, and the Digital Initiative Librarian at mid-sized state university. Panelists will discuss how UX is done at their institution, how they promote UX within the organization, and trends they see in how UX is evolving in their setting.
