Waldo Jaquith is the director of U.S. Open Data, an organization that works with government and the private sector to advance the cause of open data. He previously worked in open data with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. No stranger to libraries, Jaquith used to work with digital assets at the Scripps Library at the Miller Center at the University of Virginia, and served on the Board of Trustees at his regional library.
