Ms. Rayl has been the Emerging Technology Librarian at Indiana State University since 2012, where she divides her day between web design, user experience, social media, and open access initiatives. Her other interests include assessment, data visualization, and visual literacy. Prior to joining the faculty at ISU, she was the Internet Services Coordinator for the County of Los Angeles Public Library, one of the largest public library systems in the United States. She has presented at numerous regional, state and national conferences on the topics of technology training, data visualization, open access, and visual literacy. She holds a MLS and MA in Folklore and Ethnomusicology from Indiana University.
