Bonita Pollock

Bonita studied Cataloging and Metadata at Kent State University where she received her MLIS in 2011. Previously, she has worked in the education field and holds Masters’ degrees in Educational Administration and Educational Technology. Bonita is an active member of ALA and serves on several ALCTS committees, as well as several local committees. Her passions are working with new technologies and devising new and innovative ways to provide access to the libraries resources. In that vein she is experimenting with various uses for virtual exhibits and augmented reality apps. Her goal is to learn JSON so she can write custom augmented reality apps for her library. In her spare time Bonita also enjoys reading Science Fiction / Fantasy and crocheting.
