Open Science Tools and Workflows: what does open science really look like?

Open Science is a rising area of concern for researchers in modern scientific practice, but understanding what open science really looks like in practice can be difficult. This poster will introduce the concept of open science, outline the elements of an open science workflow, and identify some commonly used tools in the execution of various steps in the open science workflow. It will also address the spectrum of openness and ways in which it is possible to introduce elements of the open science workflow as best practices despite the limitations of potentially sensitive or proprietary work.
