Information Architecture Competencies for Librarians (20-min. session)

Much of what we do in libraries relies on the successful design and implementation of Information Architectures (IAs). Yet the IA skillset and the actual work that is done to produce an IA is rarely defined clearly. Librarians from a large R1 institution will discuss what IA competencies are for librarians and provide examples of what IA work looks like. This will be presented from the perspective of web-based IA design and implementation.
