As Head of Technical Services at Emory Libraries Jeffrey is responsible for strategy, planning, and management of 3 technical services units that processes circa $5- 10M in annually acquired library resources. Jeffrey was Digital Asset Manager at Martha Stewart Living for 9 years prior to his job at Emory. His focus is on deploying technology to automate and streamline labor-intensive technical services workflows in order to free staff time for using experience and skills to do intellectual work and minimize the routine tasks. Last year Jeffrey presented an abbreviated version of this session on Data Visualization for Acquisitions Metrics at the Charleston Conference in South Carolina. He also served as a panel speaker at ALA Annual 2016 in Orlando at a session of the Ethics of Diversity.
