Our university libraries’ e-textbook initiative provides students free access to required course titles. It includes an interface for faculty members to search for course-appropriate titles, and a page for students to access materials for their courses. We have conducted multiple iterations of usability testing on both interfaces. In addition, we tested students’ ability to search and navigate eBooks from four major vendor platforms. In this presentation, we will discuss our testing methods and highlight the findings. We will also discuss lessons learned and next steps in our project and testing plans.
