Stephen Bollinger has been working in information technology for twenty years, including library technology for over ten years, in both public and academic libraries. After library school, he worked for five years as an information architect and consultant with clients including General Motors, Steelcase, and Borders Group. When he started working in libraries, he worked on catalog redesigns, deploying content management systems, and web services. His interests include user-centered design broadly applied to library services and providing powerful library technological solutions that are both accessible and usable. He is currently the head of Library Systems at the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. He is a graduate of the School of Information at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
