Jamie L. Emery is a Research & Instruction Librarian and Associate Professor at Saint Louis University. She received her M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is the co-author of the forthcoming “Pay Attention to the Data Behind the Curtain: Leveraging LibGuides Analytics for Maximum Impact” which will be published in the LITA guide Innovative LibGuides Applications: Real World Examples (Fall 2016) and author of “The Expanding Role of Information Literacy in the Freshman Writing Program at Saint Louis University: A Case Study” which appeared in the book Curriculum-Based Library Instruction: From Cultivating Faculty Relationships to Assessment (2014). Her research interests include data-driven LibGuides design, information literacy instruction in the Humanities, and social media.
