Ankaj Patidar has over 7 years of experience in IT (LAMP/WAMP, PHP based Environment) as a Software Developer/Engineer/Architect using the iterative software development lifecycle principles of Rational Unified Process to develop, test and manage, distributed client/server, internet and intranet applications on heterogeneous environments. He joined the Queens Library team in 2010 where he has contributed to dozens of projects. Among his notable contributions to the library, Patidar architected a multi-site environment in Drupal to host five websites to give library’s patrons, donors and friends a friendly user interface to discover library’s services. He developed several Drupal Custom Modules required for various sections in the library’s websites, like displaying and maintaining Patron’s profile and account activity, and customer service logs. He developed in-house web services in REST and XML to give access to the library’s partners and vendors to discover books, events, e-content and other library services. He also developed and designed the library’s mobile website.
